Eye Candy

Fun and colorful images from the midway at the fair.  I love the strong colors, the range of colors, and the funky perspectives.  The textures on the few black and white photos make them interesting.  I think that this represents a great range of work that is completely different from the engagement session I last posted.  Stretching my photography legs makes me stronger and better.  I love learning and I love taking pictures.  Putting the two together is perfection!

Kim & Danny

We are very excited to share these images with everyone.  This engagement session was so full of love and fun.  It was a blast to shoot.  Kim and Danny were great models and let us have a lot of creative freedom and we let them get to nuzzle and kiss a lot.  It's really a breath of fresh air to be able to get outside of the small studio and do a location shoot.  We are proud of what we accomplished and learned with this one.  We enjoyed these pics and hope you do too.

If you want to see the complete session, go to our Photo Gallery Page.

So many pictures, so little time...

We have so much we want to share with the world, but we have been super busy.  This is always a blessing!  Yet somehow the week has escaped us once again.  It has been filled with everything from sick children, to events at the fair, to a spider attacking Tanya while driving, and to a little puppy eating the cord to the laptop and almost frying it and herself.  But everything turned out well in the end, and we got a lot of pictures taken care of this week.  We even designed a new logo, learned how to make a watermark out of it, and got some new equipment in the studio.  A Nikon 50mm lens has joined our camera family, and we have had loads of fun with it so far.  A new softbox has also come in, and we have started using our Nikon speedflash wirelessly and off camera.  The technical stuff involved in this will have to soon follow in another post since it is late (or really early depending on how you look at it).  The sum result of all of this:  We are making great strides and advances in our work.  We are proud!

In honor of our newest member to our family, here are a few pics we did with her.  Her name is Hershey, and she is a long haired chocolate and tan miniature Dachshund.  She has stolen our hearts already.
